ACOTE
Acote, Jeff-Antoine Cote (he/him), is a percussionist, electronic music producer, DJ and sound designer based out of Toronto.
Jeff's practice is rooted in the exploration of unique undertones in sounds, bass and rhythms. This has been accomplished through operas, baroque music concerts, art installations, and various audio/visual performances. Acote manipulates a vast pool of echoes and soundscapes according to the energy in a room, developing a personal bond with the viewer/listener/dancer.
Sharing the stage with international acts such as Djrum, Aurora Halal, Laurel Halo, Simo Cell, Hodge, Ciel, Shaggy, Drake and many more, Acote consistently delivers an eccentric and memorable performance as a DJ and live act.
His latest release "WL" was featured in Dj Mag top compilation of 2025.
